Signs it is time
- Brake pad warning light on the dash
- Grinding, squealing or a pulse through the pedal
- A soft or long pedal
- Brake fluid older than two years
What we do
We measure pad thickness and rotor thickness against the minimum spec and show you the numbers. German cars use wear sensors, and we replace those with the pads so the warning light works the next time.
For cars that see track days, we can step up to a higher temperature pad and fluid. Just know some of those pads are noisy and dusty on the street.
Fluid matters
Brake fluid absorbs water over time and the boiling point drops. Most German manufacturers call for a flush every two years. On a track car, flush before every season.

Common questions
Do I need new rotors every time?
Not always. If they are above minimum thickness and not warped, pads alone can be fine. On many German cars rotors wear with pads, so it is common.
How often should brake fluid be changed?
Every two years for most German cars, or before each season on a track car.
