Platforms we flash
We work with the off-the-shelf platforms the German tuning community already trusts, including MHD, bootmod3, JB4 and APR. These are maps that thousands of cars are running, which is the point: known behaviour, known limits, and support behind them.
Before the flash
A tune adds boost and timing, and anything already weak shows up fast. Before we flash, we scan for stored faults, check plugs and coils, look for boost leaks and confirm the fuel and clutch can take what you are asking for. If something needs doing first, you hear it from us before you pay for a map.
Stage 1 vs stage 2
- Stage 1 runs on a stock car. The best value per dollar on most turbo German engines.
- Stage 2 expects a downpipe and usually an intake and intercooler. More power, more heat, more to look after.
- Beyond that it becomes a build: turbo, fuel and clutch upgrades that we plan with you, not sell off a menu.
After the flash
We data-log the car on the road, check fuel trims, boost and timing, and only hand it back once the numbers look right. If you go back to stock for a dealer visit, we can show you how.
Common questions
How long does a tune take?
The flash itself is short. Plan on most of a day with the pre-check and the logging drive afterwards.
Can I go back to stock?
On most platforms, yes. We save your stock file before anything is changed.
Do I need premium fuel?
Yes. Maps are written for a specific octane and run on 91 or 93. Some platforms also offer ethanol blend maps, which need their own fuel planning.
